The following list identifies the WellPoint owned companies that have adopted a new Medical Policy on Autonomic Testing as of October 2013. The link takes you to a copy of their Medical Policy on Autonomic Testing (MED .00112). Thew new policy denies insurance coverage for all autonomic function testing. Please check out the sample e-mail we're asking everyone to send to the CEO and Chief Medical Director of WellPoint.

There may be more companies involved, so please check with your insurer if you have a WellPoint, Anthem, or Blue Cross Blue Shield branded plan and your plan is not listed here. Ask if they have a Medical Policy on Autonomic Testing, and if they do, ask for a copy of it. If it says "MED .00112" on it, it the same as the new WellPoint policy.
