Planning giving can be used in a number of ways to support Dysautonomia International and the important research we fund. For example, you can include Dysautonomia International as a beneficiary of your last will and testament, your life insurance policy or your retirement plan. You can also name Dysautonomia International as a beneficiary of a charitable trust.
If your planned gift is expected to exceed $10,000, you can designate a specific form of dysautonomia that you would like your donation to be applied to. This is sometimes important to individuals who have a particular diagnosis, or who have a loved one with a particular diagnosis.
Please contact Dysautonomia International if you would like sample language that can be used to create these gifts (info@dysautonomiainternational.org) of if you have any questions about our Planning Giving Program. We encourage all planned giving donors to consult with their own legal or financial advisor as well. Your advisor can help you determine the best option for your donation, and can help you prepare the necessary legal documents.
