Grab your cowboy boots, because Dysautonomia International is taking its 6th Annual Conference on the road to Nashville, Tennessee, the Music City!

The conference will take place June 22-24, 2018. We invite you to join us for an amazing weekend of educational seminars, engaging speakers, social events and dysautonomia advocacy training. With over 400 guests, this is the largest conference on autonomic disorders that brings together patients, caregivers, researchers, physicians, industry representatives, non-profit leaders and government policy makers.

Conference Registration
Registration for the conference is $275 per person before May 11, 2018 and $325 thereafter. Registration includes participation in conference seminars, social activities, a welcome reception on Friday, lunch on Saturday, an awards banquet on Saturday night, and lunch on Sunday. Seating is limited. Our conference always sells out well in advance, so we recommend registering early.



2018 Speakers & Topics
Many of the world's leading experts on autonomic disorders are joining us, as well as other engaging speakers on topics of interest to the dysautonomia community. Topics include: Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, Neurocardiogenic Syncope, Autoimmune Autonomic Ganglionopathy, Orthostatic Hypotension, Gastroparesis, Autonomic and Sensory Neuropathies, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, Sjogren's Syndrome, Cerebrospinal Fluid Leaks in Dysautonomia, Chronic Pain Management, Coping with Chronic Illness, Research Updates and more! Throughout the conference there will be a separate program for teens, although teens are welcome to participate in the regular programming as well.

Schedule
Conference registration materials can be picked up starting at 6pm in the registration area of the hotel. There is a casual welcome reception at the hotel on Friday, June 22, 6pm - 9pm. Educational programming will occur on Saturday, June 23, 9am - 5pm and Sunday, June 24, 9am - 4pm. The awards banquet will be Saturday, June 23, 7pm-10pm. A detailed schedule will be available prior to the start of the conference and emailed to all registrants.

The schedule is packed with educational and social activities, but you are free to participate at your own pace. If you need a break, there will be a quiet Hospitality Suite with comfortable chairs, salty snacks and hydrating beverages open at all times, or you can return to your hotel room for a nap.

Refund Policy
Registration fees will not be refunded after May 18, 2018. Prior to this date, fees can be refunded less a $20 service charge per registration to cover the cost of processing the registration and refund. Registrations are not transferrable. If you have already paid for your registration and would like a refund, please contact us at conference@dysautonomiainternational.org.

Hotel Accommodations
The conference will be held at the Sheraton Music City Hotel in Nashville, TN. The hotel is fully air-conditioned and has an outdoor pool, indoor pool, hot tub, fitness center and business center. Wheelchair accessible rooms are available upon request. All rooms include complimentary wireless internet access.

A block of rooms is being held for conference participants at a preferred rate. Nightly rates (not including applicable taxes) are $164 per night for single/double occupancy. Please note, the rate does not include breakfast. We have made arrangements with the hotel to provide options for breakfast purchase. See below under Meals. Preferred rates are available on a first come, first serve basis until May 25, 2018. Once the room block is full, room are subject to availability at the current market rate. Guests are responsible for booking their own hotel reservations through the link below. Please wait to receive confirmation of your conference registration prior to booking your hotel room. Guests will be required to show conference credentials during the conference for admission into sessions, meal function and hospitality locations.

Travel Arrangements
Guests are responsible for their own travel arrangements to and from the conference. The hotel is located 3 miles (10 minute drive) from the Nashville Metropolitan Airport (BNA). See below for ground transportation options.

Shuttle Service
The hotel provides complimentary shuttle service to/from Nashville Metropolitan Airport. The shuttle operates daily 5:00am-11:00pm. To request shuttle service upon arrival, contact the hotel directly 615-885-2200 and request to be picked up. Pickup location at the airport is Lower Level, outside of baggage claim. You may coordinate your return shuttle transfer with the hotel front desk agent at some point during your stay.

Taxi Fares
Rates are approximately $10-$15 each way.

Uber/Lyft Fares
Rates for standard vehicles are approximately $10-$13 each way.

Hotel Parking
For guests driving to the conference, complimentary self-parking is available.

Meals
Dysautonomia International will provide refreshments and snacks during at the Welcome Reception on Friday evening, lunch on Saturday & Sunday, and an Awards Banquet (dinner & desert) will be provided Saturday evening. Gluten-free and vegan options will be available.

There are many restaurants and options to choose from for dining off property. The hotel provides complimentary shuttle transfers within a 3-mile radius of the hotel. Please be sure to check with the hotel personnel for suggestions and shuttle coordination.

Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner are available for purchase in Old Hickory Grill located off the main lobby of the hotel. The hotel is offering discounted breakfast options for Dysautonomia International guests. These prices are available Friday, June 22nd to Monday, June 25th. Hot Buffet Breakfast $14.95 per person plus tax and Continental Breakfast $7.95 per person plus tax. The restaurant has been advised of the diverse dietary needs of our conference attendees and options will be available upon request.

What to Wear?
Dress is summer casual for the conference, although you may want to bring a cardigan or sweater because rooms can get a little chilly sometimes. We suggest summer cocktail party attire for the awards banquet. Don't forget a bathing suit if you'd like to make use of either the indoor or outdoor pool.

We're planning a busy weekend, but if you'd like to explore the area, Nashville has some amazing locations to visit.
