#ColdWaterDysautonomiaDare

The summer heat is here, and what better way to show support for a good cause and keep cool than by taking the #ColdWaterDysautonomiaDare. You've probably seen some crazy Facebook posts about people jumping into chilly lakes or dumping buckets of ice water on their head for a good cause. Now it's YOUR TURN to get in on the action and help raise some funds for Dysautonomia International's research grant program!
Here's how it works:
1.
Take a photo or video of yourself dumping a large bucket
of icy cold water on your head. If you have temperature sensitivity
issues because of your dysautonomia, just use regular water - the
point is to have fun and raise awareness!
2. Donate $10 to Dysautonomia International at:
www.dysautonomiainternational.org/ColdWaterDysautonomiaDare.
3. Share the photo or video with friends on Facebook, Twitter
and other social media and dare them to do the same.
4. Laugh because you and your friends look silly doing this.
Smile because you've just helped raise awareness and research
funds for a serious medical condition that impacts more than
25 million people around the world!

Here's some sample language you can use to send out your dares with your photo or video:

I accept the #ColdWaterDysautonomiaDare from _______________ and now I'm daring __(tag your friends here)__ to donate $10 to Dysautonomia International and do the #ColdWaterDysautonomiaDare. If you wimp out and don't accept the dare, I'm asking you to donate $100 to Dysautonomia International to support amazing dysautonomia medical research. Don't forget to dare your friends too!
